CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped  at Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 2nd March 2025. Every little helps to improve and conserve our environment.

INTERACT CLUB

Zariah Wright , President of the Rotary Interact Club at Noosa District SHS, with the Educational Institution of the Year Award and Australia Day Hero 2025 from Back Beds for the Homeless for their contribution of $5.250 raised by students of the school at their Sleep Rough initiative.
Last winter 95 students braved a cold night to sleep rough at the school agricultural campus to raise the money.
Tony Clark, Founder of Backpack Beds for the Homeless said, “We are really privileged to have been thought about and to have accepted your incredible hard work and donation."

  Meeting weekly here in Cooroy with like-minded people, Rotarians have the expertise and contacts to make things happen. We are supporting local charities, helping to eradicate polio worldwide, we’re providing disaster relief, improving youth opportunities locally and globally, and having a great time doing so.
