3rd and final Dragon Boat training opportunity

Dragon boating is not ‘new’... people have participating in this sport for over 2000 years and there are over 50 million people worldwide who regularly hop in a dragon boat; it is a sport for all ages and crosses all cultural divides bringing people together around the globe. Come and have a go suitable for all fitness levels ages 12 and up and make up a team join in at the Rotary Club of Cooroy Charity Dragon Boat Festival on Lake Macdonald on Sunday 06 May 2018. A dragon boat is a long (approx. 12 metres) and narrow human powered boat used in the team paddling sport.

The standard crew 22, comprising 20 paddlers in pairs facing toward the bow of the boat, one drummer or caller at the bow facing toward the paddlers and one steerer or sweep at the rear of the boat. Expert guidance and training provided by members of Dragon Boat Queensland
