Nick Parkyn - Audiologist
Audiologist Nick Parkyn will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Cooroy meeting on Monday 13 April. Nick is an experienced audiologist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in audiology and he recently relocated from Tewantin to establish his own independent practice in the heart of Cooroy. He will share practical insights on hearing awareness, underscoring the vital importance of maintaining good hearing health in daily life.

Rotary Polio Eradication Project
The Polio Eradication campaign, started by Nambour Rotarian Clem Renouf in 1978, has reduced infections by 99% so the task is not yet finished. This is the kind of work your support of our fundraising activities makes possible, reaching children in areas where health care is limited and the challenges are greatest.
Rotary leaders recently visited Pakistan and met with government officials, who reaffirmed their commitment to polio eradication. The delegation included RI President Francesco Arezzo, Trustee Chair Holger Knaack, International PolioPlus Chair Michael K. McGovern, and aide to the president John de Giorgio. They were hosted by Aziz Memon, chair of the Pakistan PolioPlus Committee.
