RARE - Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment
Crutches, a Gurney and Chairs ready for dispatch
The combined Rotary Clubs of Cooroy, Noosa and Noosa Daybreak support RARE - Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment a volunteer-based recycling facility used to collect and redistribute goods, principally donated by companies, hospitals and educational institutions.
Crutches, a gurney and chairs were some of the latest shipment destined for developing countries and to disadvantaged individuals in in Australia and overseas.
RARE establishes an efficient and effective program for distributing obsolete medical and educational equipment to disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas.
These projects are mechanisms for the repurposing and the reuse of equipment, which is no longer required, making a positive impact on the environment by reducing landfill and achieving sustainability.
